The Dryer Egg is a noduled egg shaped dryer ball, that contains an optional refillable fragrance and is designed to speed up laundry drying times. We offer both fragranced and fragrance-free options and refills are widely available from our website and stores across the UK.
How does the Dryer Egg work?
Before placing your first order, you might be wondering how do the Dryer Eggs work? Well, these nifty little eggs are designed to not only reduce drying times by up to 28% but their clever design will also reduce creasing, making ironing a thing of the past.
Simply pop into your tumble drier and let them do their work. They’ll help dry your clothes by creating pockets of air in-between your clothing, helping them dry quicker and soften your clothes at the same time. Our fragranced Dryer Eggs will also add a gentle fragrance to your clothes.
PLEASE NOTE: Do not use the Ecoegg Dryer Eggs if you have a Hotpoint Aquarius tumble dryer.
What’s included in the box?
You’ll receive two Dryer Eggs and four fragrance booster sticks which means one box will give you up to 80 scented dries. If you opt for the fragrance-free version, you’ll receive two Dryer Eggs.
If later down the line you fancy trying out the fragranced version, all you need to do is purchase some fragrance booster sticks, you’ll be able to slot these into the eggs just as you would with our fragranced versions.

Ecoegg was born after our founder, Dawn, faced her own struggles with eczema. After years of using detergent filled with harsh chemicals and nasties which was often the cause of her eczema flare ups, Dawn decided that enough was enough and thus Ecoegg was born.
All our fragrances have been specially developed to be low irritant and low allergen. They are dermatologically tested, rated as ‘excellent’ on sensitive skin, making them suitable for both young skin as well as sensitive and allergy prone skin.

How do you set up your Dryer Egg?
Setting up your Dryer Eggs for first use is easy. All you need to do is slot in the fragrance booster sticks in the eggs until they’re firmly in place and you’re good to go! If you’re opting for the fragrance-free version, you can skip this step and pop them straight into the tumble drier.
