Why are we using Prevented Ocean Plastic (POP)?

Our bottle is made from 100% recycled Prevented Ocean Plastic, which can be traced directly back to Indonesia. Southeast Asian countries are considered significant contributors to the leakage of land-based plastic waste into the seas, with a generation of 31 million tons of plastic waste annually (Julius and Trajano, 2022).
