ecoegg Detox Tablet
If you’re using an ecoegg Laundry Egg for the first time, be sure to kickstart your eco journey with an ecoegg detox tablet. Give your washing machine that deserved TLC to provide you with the best wash results possible – the detox tablets rids of bad odours and removes limescale from previously used liquid or powder detergent and fabric conditioner so our little eggs can work their magic this laundry day ✨
Unwrap one Detox Tablet and place it in the drum of your EMPTY machine and then run your hottest and longest wash cycle, preferably at 90 degrees. Do not put clothing in during the detox cycle.
We recommend detoxing your machine every month. This ensures your washing machine pipes stay clean and it operates more effectively. The box contains enough to keep your machine clean for 2 months.
ecoegg Laundry Egg
The ecoegg Laundry Egg is a 2 in 1 replacement for laundry detergent + softener, giving you a greener laundry solution. It cleans clothes effectively using two types of pellets – white washing pellets and the black tourmaline pellets – encased in a recyclable, refillable laundry egg case.
The white pellets do the cleaning and the black pellets increase the efficiency of the white pellets by reducing the water surface tension, drawing out the dirt. The egg itself helps to remove dirt and soften your laundry items. Want the Einstein level of explanation? Click here.
The detergent pellets is a gentle on skin formula, containing no chlorine bleaches, phosphates, parabens, SLS/SLES or palm oil Not tested on animals and suitable for vegans.
They leave significantly less detergent itchy residue on your clothes versus traditional detergents and fabric softeners.
Laundry Egg Cup Holder
The Egg Cup Holder is for use in conjunction with your ecoegg Laundry Egg to keep your pellets fresh and dry.
The Egg Holder has two suction pads, one on the side and one on the bottom and can be secured to any surface. No spillages will occur once you plug on the egg cup to a surface – it will be holding onto your egg for dear life. Simply pop your ecoegg Laundry Egg in the cup when not in use so that it dries between washes and you always know where to find it.
The egg holder has a hole at the bottom to give your egg a little breathing space – meaning your pellets will stay fab and fresh and not mouldy throughout the duration of its lifecycle.

We’ve gone through an exciting redesign, and as we step into a new era, you’ll see fresh packaging in your orders. Change is a good thing. But change takes time. Especially when you make change responsibly.
Because we don’t believe in wasting perfectly good packaging — that would go against our sustainability pledge — you might get a mix of old and new designs inside your orders. Rest assured, it’s still the same consistently high-quality product, just as you’d expect. If you happen to receive classic packaging, know that your order is helping to reduce waste. And if you receive anything with a fresh look, you’re one of the first, and we’d love to hear what you think.
